Sites that are useful, relevant and usable don’t happen by accident – they are designed that way, intentionally.
Intentional design employs a “mobile-first” approach to keep it simple:
- Is the primary purpose of the screen obvious?
- What are the 3-5 secondary actions?
- Is the information on the screen too dense?
- Will users know how to interact with the screen within 3 seconds?
- What is the most intuitive way to visualize the information?
- How can I get users to the information with the least amount of effort
- in the least amount of time?
